I went to the Power of Making exhibition at the V&A since the London Design Festival! It was cool and had a lot of technologically interesting design (blanket with sensors that can electronically describe an object it covers; a wooden cyborg suit for Steven Hawking). I had a baller time and saw some intriguing things, although if I had one criticism it would be that all of the design was out to ‘wow’ people who saw it so there was a clear leaning towards post-modern as opposed to modernist styling. Still, it was cool. I wish I had time to see more, but I’m flying back to Stanford tomorrow!
